This is a recipe that Patti makes usually on a Sunday, for quick and healthy starts during the week.
2/3 cup applesauce
1 cup brown sugar
4 cups quick oats
1 tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups milk
*chopped nuts or ground cinnamon if desired
Mix together all ingredients then spread into a greased 9 x 9 inch dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes.
You may substitute peaches, fresh, frozen or dried blueberries.
