Hi folks- It's been busy, busy since the antiques and craft show.
We had a great turn out with lots of new crafters and buyers.
The weather was just perfect for a day outting.
The firkins, pewter and tinware all found happy homes in a hurry. And I loved meeting so many of the ladies from Primitive Journey and Primitive Place that came to see us!
Pictures and news will be posted within the next few days. Never enough Thyme....

Firkins Galore

We have been working hard to get ready for our antique and craft show next Saturday Aug 14th. Cleaning, stocking, working in the gardens and look what showed up at closing time on Friday...."Firkins Overload".

We ran out of room to put them in the barn so we just unloaded the rest to the porch and I grabbed my camera for a quick picture.

The lady also brought piles of old tinware to sell, cast iron and at least twenty boxes that we have not even opened yet! What fun.

CRAFT AND ANTIQUE SHOW-August 14, 2010

Held from 9-5 pm-rain or shine

Our annual craft and antique show is coming up. We feature over 50 booths of handcrafted items, antiques, and lots of good food-including an old fashioned chicken barbeque.
In our shop we offer 3 floors of locally made crafts.
In our garden we have plenty of seating to relax, enjoy a snack, and watch the birds or our shop cat, Ebony.
The barn out back has locally made furniture, crafts, and antiques.
Walk down our garden path and enjoy our “signature birdhouse” collection made by a local couple. The birds will actually use them-this year we had black-capped chickadees, wrens, and sparrows make nests in them. We also feature a metal birdhouse tree, which is new this year and selling very well.

This is definitely one of our favorite events-hope to see you here.

New Featured Artist

Meet Teresa Miller from Newburg, PA. Teresa has been creating “treasures” in stitches and wood for about 20 years now.

Along with the help of her husband Jeff they have created these antique reproduction laptop desks large enough to hold today’s laptops!

Also in the shop you will find these corner candle shelves for a nice primitive old time look.

A soap dish make-do created from a wooden bowl adds a nice primitive touch to your bathroom or kitchen!

On the stitching side............check out these prairie bonnets! A nice colonial touch!

These are just a few of Teresa's Primitive Teasures awaiting you next time you visit.
