Featured Artist - Karen from KM Primitives

MEET KAREN from KM PRIMITIVES
DESIGNER OF ORIGINAL HAND STITCHED PENNY RUGS
Original designer of the Candle Hugger and Chair Backer

Karen lives in the southeast part of beautiful Wisconsin with her husband Doug.
They have three married sons and five grandchildren.
She is a retired Graphics Designer so it's only fitting she started designing for a passion.

Karen started sewing Penny Rugs for pleasure and then was told by someone she should start selling them. She did her very first craft show right here at IN GRANDMA'S ATTIC.

From the craft shows she started consigning her products and finally took the step to open her own website and the rest is history...it took off and has been a very huge success since.
Karen has a love for designing and sewing with Wool and Wool Felt and stitching by hand and it shows in her products.

Here are just a few of her best sellers

All of her Penny Rugs and decorative Primitives are made to order so when the order is placed it is MADE JUST FOR YOU!

You can find some of Karen's products right here IN GRANDMA'S ATTIC so if you are in the area stop on in...there are so many more things to see - like President Lincoln and Washington Cupboard Prints, Americana items and more.

~ MADE IN THE USA ~
All designs are KAREN'S OWN ORIGINALS and HAND STITCHED by her alone

New patterns by Homespun from the Heart

In our Handmade in the USA Wholesale room, we've been running a theme - It's Raining Cats & Dogs. So many requests come in for cat and dog items that we decided to play on a theme! Cindy Markovcy, owner of Homespun from the Heart, supplied us with some cat and dog dolls and tree toppers, ornies and some other handmades. She has published 3 new patterns from some of those items - so if you would like to make your own, you can buy these patterns in "e" or printed format on her website.

This one is for Raggedy Ann or Andy finish plus 4 different pets, 2 dogs and 2 cats:

She also released the cat and dog tree toppers with ornies into 2 patterns (and, for a limited time, you can buy both at a discount on her website):

If you are a pet-lover like so many of us out there and love to sew, these patterns are a great way to get started on some Christmas gifts! You can get them at www.HomespunFromTheHeart.com today!
